Tender description

The Scottish Government has a requirement to place a contract with an external service provider for the provision of Research: Scottish Trade in Services. The contract is to find (shorter-term) solutions to data gaps in services trade statistics and research to enhance our understanding of relevant and key trends in Scotland's trade in services. Given that current insights are based on Export Statistics Scotland (ESS) 2021, there is clear need for up-to-date, forward-looking analysis that examines the global trends in services while providing insights into Scotland's key service exports. The research is expected to be desk based and qualitative in nature and focus on current and future growth opportunities within Scottish sectors.
