Leeds City Council (LCC) is seeking strategic commissioning partners to address the sufficiency gaps and needs identified in the Leeds Sufficiency Strategy 2024-2027. The goal is to develop an innovative scheme to tackle key challenges in providing residential care. Bidders will be given to options to bid against a. Providers to provide their own property or to acquire property b. Providers to lease property from LCC This service is intended for children and young people placed in homes by the Local Authority, in line with their responsibilities under section 20 of the Children Act 1989 to provide accommodation for children in need of support.
