Preliminary Market Engagement Event - Asset Management SoR Contracts Re-Procurement 2025

Wirral Borough Council (the “Council”) will be holding an online Preliminary Market Engagement Event to raise awareness of forthcoming contract opportunities for the delivery of Asset Management Schedule of Rates (SoR) Contracts and to give interested parties the option to participate. This Event will aim to provide market providers the view on the Council's proposed approach for the re-procurement of these contracts, which in turn will help to shape the procurement documentation and service design that appeal to current markets and offer value for money solutions. The Event will also allow for market providers to network and ask questions which they may have. Wirral is a Metropolitan Borough of the Liverpool City Region (L.C.R.) in the Northwest of England, with a population of approx. 320,000, over 60 square miles. The Council provides regular reactive and planned maintenance services which covers asset management and capital programme & other works. These works include but is not limited to – General Building Works Flooring Roofing Mechanical Electrical Glazing Curtain Walling/Auto Doors Lift Maintenance Water Hygiene Monitoring and Risk Assessment Water Hygiene Remedials Air Conditioning Renewal, Repair and Maintenance Removal, Storage and Disposal Services Maintenance of Fire Fighting Equipment Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm & Emergency Lighting Maintenance Asbestos Removal & Encapsulation Works Asbestos Surveying and Sampling The Event will take place on Thursday 17th July 2025 at 10.00 - 11.30am and will be via MS Teams; the Teams link will be provided on successful completion of the registration form.
