DGLW/25/02 Clinical Orthotic Services

Tender description

NHS D&G Orthotic service receives approx. 582 referrals annually from GPs, Consultants and AHPs, with approx. 2000 annual patient attendances. The service is delivered primarily though outpatient clinics. Main site is Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary (DGRI) . Clinics are also held at Galloway Community Hospital in Stranraer. The service is managed by NHS employed Team leader and Acute AHP Manger with the contracted service providing majority of clinical sessions. This tender seeks a provider, for 23 months with the possibility of 1 further extension of 9 months , to deliver an agreed number of sessions per month. (Sessions are 3.5 hours) This is a clinical service contract and within the terms of the contract no assumption should be made as to the supply of other goods, equipment, or devices.
