TENDER TO PROVIDE SPORT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY SESSIONS

Tender description

The Council from time to time may seek external sport and physical activity providers to help deliver activity sessions in the Council district at various locations both in Council facilities as well as community facilities. In developing a call “off list” / panel the Council also reserves the right to work with other groups or clubs outside of this panel / “call off list” whereby there is a sports or community development outcome to be realised e.g.. the Council has been approached by some local residents in Lisbellaw who would be interested in taking up angling. The Council has identified a local angling club who with some direct assistance could help provide “come and try it sessions” for these local residents. Although the Council has a panel / “call of list” for the provision of angling activities in the first instance the Council reserves the right to work with local groups or clubs (who may not be on this panel / “call off list”) where it is feasible and makes sense to make these local connections for sports development and sustainability outcomes.
