Tender description

The London Borough of Merton is looking to engage qualified organisations to quote for the provision of artistic/ cultural services to take place in Merton Libraries to form part of the new Culture and Creativity programme funded by Arts Council England (National Portfolio Organisation 2023-26). This commissions call is for artists and creatives who would like to realise projects in a public library setting across the London Borough of Merton. Aimed at those with demonstrable experience in engaging audiences with artistic practices of any discipline in innovative ways and who are interested in working in the context of Libraries to showcase their work and engage with our diverse local communities. We want to hear from those interested in promoting public libraries as settings for artistic practices which advocate for difference, creativity, experimentation and learning within the arts. We have a special focus on the east of the borough and how we can better deliver arts and cultural event in libraries for all to access. All disciplines are welcome and not exclusive to: Music, Theatre, Dance, Visual Arts, Spoken word, Film, Multimedia, Literature and Combined Arts.
