English for speakers of other Languages (ESOL)

Tender description

To provide face to face education to enable learners to develop their English language skills in all aspects (reading Writing speaking and listening) to a level where they can confidently participate in everyday life. This will include participation in education, and employment within their community by providing accessible and tailored learning pathways that cater for individual needs and goals, while addressing potential barriers to participation. The service will help develop sustainable relationships between service users and members of the wider community by increasing access to, and participation in local English-speaking networks, activities and voluntary organisations, thus fostering a sense of belonging. Deliver ESOL provision to 20 individual learners from across South Tyneside resettlement programmes that include Asylum seekers, refugees, ARAP and Homes for Ukraine and to be delivered in the South Tyneside area.
