Asbestos Removal and Boiler Replacement for Livingstone Primary School .

Tender description

There are two tenders associated with this project. These are asbestos removal and boiler replacement. The two schemes are interlinked in that the two companies who are awarded the work will need to work collaboratively to ensure the scheme progresses. The boiler replacement tender is open for Gas Safe registered companies to submit tenders. The old boilers are beyond serviceable life and require a replacement. This project includes removal of the old system, installation of the new, and commissioning. The asbestos removal works is open for licenced asbestos removal companies to submit tenders. The former re-encapsulation is failing and requires either removal or re-encapsulating. The preference is for the removal, but this is subject to the works being viable in the allotted budget there.
