Tender description
Dublin Simon Community seeks to establish up to 3 contracts for the provision of Reactive/Responsive Maintenance covering, General Building Repairs, Mechanical and Electrical Services for a period of up to 4 years. The annual spend is estimated at between €825,000 to €925,000. This information is given as a guide only and Dublin Simon Community do not guarantee any volume of business arising out of contracts awarded through this process. Tenderers may apply for one or more lots, which are Lot 1: General Building repair/maintenance services to include Carpentry, Tiling, Roofing, Gutter repair and cleaning, Painting, Flooring. Lot 2: Services for the planned and reactive upkeep and maintenance of Mechanical Building Systems Lot 3: Services for the planned and reactive upkeep and maintenance of Electrical Building Systems. Dublin Simon Community is a registered charity, which has been working at the frontline of homelessness for 55 years, the organisation recognises the need to increase efficiency, capacity and create opportunities for improvements in service delivery to tackle the ever-growing demand within the system. Dublin Simon Community provides services to more than 6,000 people in Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow and Meath, Louth, Cavan, Monaghan, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Services range from outreach support for people who are rough sleeping, emergency accommodation, treatment, counselling and recovery services for people experiencing addiction issues, long-term supported accommodation, independent housing units, tenancy support and homelessness prevention services, resettlement services for people moving out of homelessness and into a home of their own and education and employability services
