Fingal County Council intends to establish a Single-Party Framework Agreement for Multi-disciplinary Environmental and Engineering Consultancy Services for the River Liffey Fish Barrier Mitigation Project for three Dublin Local Authorities (Fingal County Council, Dublin City Council, and South Dublin County Council) with an initial contract for Stages I and II: Survey work, Options Assessment, Preliminary Design, Environmental Assessment and Planning Application to An Bord Pleanala for modifications to seven weirs on the river Liffey, but with further contracts expected for subsequent project phases.
