We Are Undefeatable in BwD: Targeted Community Physical Activity Fund

Tender description

We are looking for local community-based physical activity organisations who are interested in delivering free and/or subsidised physical activity sessions for people living with one, or multiple long term health conditions. We are looking for sessions which: • Are targeted specifically towards people living with long term health conditions, with consideration to other groups of people with low participation in physical activity. • Are delivered from a location which is based near to or is accessible for people living with long term health conditions and with low participation in physical activity. • Are delivered in consultation with targeted community groups to understand and remove barriers to access. • Include a range of appropriate activities, e.g. gym-based, sports hall or outdoor activities, instructor or self-led sessions, group or individual activities. • Will be delivered at no, or low cost to participants for up to 12 months with plans in place to support of continuation and longer term sustainability.
