Tender description
This preliminary market consultation is not a call for competition, and it does not constitute an invitation to tender, or an offer to enter into an arrangement and/or any contract. Within the next six months, the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration, and related criminal justice agencies, plan to engage the services of a suitably qualified service provider, with appropriate expertise in the field, for the provision of electronic monitoring of offenders and those that are eligible and before the courts. The intention is that the electronic monitoring managed service will be available for all categories of eligible individuals, commencing on a phased basis. The Department is working with the criminal justice agencies: the Irish Prison Service, the Probation Service, An Garda Síochána and the Courts Service along with the Director of Public Prosecutions to design the appropriate operating model for electronic monitoring.
