St Vincent’s University Hospital (SVUH) under St Vincent’s Healthcare Group (SVHG) is one of the world’s leading academic teaching hospitals providing front line, acute, chronic and emergency care across over 50 different medical, surgical and diagnostic specialties – in the country’s only integrated multi-hospital campus. It currently employees approximately 5,000 employees across locations. A wide range of information and facts about the two public entities of the Group, namely St Vincent’s University Hospital (SVUH) and St Michael’s Hospital (SMH) are available at the official website, www.stvincents.ie and www.stmichaels.ie. In summary the Services comprise of the provision of a Learning Management System (LMS) including Maintenance, Support and Integration Services for Platforms operated by St. Vincent’s Healthcare Group. St Vincent’s Healthcare Group, and in particular its public law entities, St Vincent’s University Hospital (Elm Park) and St Michael’s Hospital (Dun Laoghaire) have an ongoing requirement for Moodle-based hosted LMS services across their two locations, for mandatory and other staff training. A Cloud/Managed hosted solution is sought. The current LMS is Moodle-based including a 360 Articulate subscription. The option to include and renew 360 Articulate subscription in the future is preferred. It is integrated with the Hospitals’ Management Information System (MIS) where staff training records are maintained and updated. The Hospitals also require services to develop, maintain, improve and support this LMS infrastructure. The successful contractor is also expected during the duration of this contract to continue integration with internal systems and external eLearning content providers.
