A Dynamic Purchasing System for provision of Accommodation with Care

A Dynamic Purchasing System for a full range of registered residential support. The Providers will provide high quality, safe and personalised accommodation with care that promotes choice, dignity, control and quality of life for all Residents and provide modernised care and support services that deliver value for money. These Service Types fall into key areas: Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health, Physical Disabilities, Continuing Health Care Lot 1: Residential Older People To provide 24-hour care and support for service users in a residential environment (could include personal care, washing, dressing, medication). Lot 2: Residential Dementia To provide 24 hour care and support for service users in a residential environment appropriate to meet the needs of people living with dementia (could include personal care, washing, dressing, medication). Lot 3: Residential Physical Disability/Sensory Impairment To provide 24 hour care and support for service users in a residential environment appropriate to meet the needs of people who have physical disabilities and/or sensory impairments (could include personal care, washing, dressing, medication). Lot 4: Residential Learning Disability/Autism Spectrum Disorder To provide 24 hour care and support for service users in a residential environment appropriate to meet the needs of people who have a learning disability and/or autism (could include personal care, washing, dressing, medication). Lot 5: Residential Mental Health To provide 24 hour care and support for service users in a residential environment appropriate to meet the needs of people who have mental health support needs (could include personal care, washing, dressing, medication). Lot 6: Nursing Standard To provide 24 hour nursing care and support for service users. (A qualified registered nurse must be on duty at all times in order to meet the nursing needs of residents). This is in addition to supporting with personal care, washing and dressing. Lot 7: Nursing Dementia To provide 24 hour nursing care and support for service users in an environment appropriate to meet the nursing needs of people living with dementia. (A qualified registered nurse must be on duty at all times in order to meet the nursing needs of residents). This is in addition to supporting with personal care, washing and dressing. Lot 8: Nursing Physical Disability / Sensory Impairment To provide 24 hour nursing care and support for service users in an environment appropriate to meet the nursing needs of people with physical disabilities and/or sensory impairments. (A qualified registered nurse must be on duty at all times in order to meet the nursing needs of residents). This is in addition to supporting with personal care, washing and dressing. Lot 9: Nursing Learning Disability / Autistic Spectrum Disorder To provide 24 hour nursing care and support for service users in an environment appropriate to meet the nursing needs of people who have a learning disability or autism. (A qualified registered nurse must be on duty at all times in order to meet the nursing needs of residents). This is in addition to supporting with personal care, washing and dressing. Lot 10: Nursing Mental Health To provide 24 hour nursing care and support for service users in an environment appropriate to meet the nursing needs of people who have mental health needs. (A qualified registered nurse must be on duty at all times in order to meet the nursing needs of residents). This is in addition to supporting with personal care, washing and dressing. Lot 11: Nursing Beds - Spot Purchase - Intermediate Care to accommodate winter pressures To provide 24 hour nursing care this will enable patients to avoid being admitted to hospital or discharged into a nursing care environment. Lot 12: Nursing Beds - Spot Purchase - Discharge to Assess To provide 24 hour nursing care which will enable patients to be discharged from hospital and allow for a period of assessment to clarify ongoing support needs. Lot 13: Residential Beds - Spot Purchase- Intermediate Care To provide 24 hour residential care which will enable patients who have residential support needs to avoid being admitted to hospital or discharged from hospital if they still have ongoing residential support needs that can't be met at home.
