Tender for the Supply and Delivery of Diesel Oil (Non-Road) at Medite Smartply 2025

MEDITE SMARTPLY are seeking competitive tender submissions from suitably qualified suppliers for the Supply and Delivery of Diesel Oil and Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil HVO. Supply and delivery should be in accordance with the attached Specifications, Conditions of Purchase, Form of Tender and this Invitation to Tender. Diesel is the primary fuel being used at Medite Smartply, however, we are looking to increase our usage of HVO as part of our Corporate Sustainability Strategy. The intention is to increase our consumption of HVO over the course of this contract to reduce our carbon footprint. The required quantity will be approximately 475,000 litres for Medite Smartply per annum, However, it will be subjected to fluctuations due to production volume and seasonality related issues. Tank Storage Capacity at Smartply is 70,000 litres for Diesel Oil + 70,000 litres for HVO, can accept deliveries up to 30,000 litres. Tank Storage Capacity at Medite is 22,000 litres for Diesel Oil only, no capacity for HVO currently, can accept deliveries between 15,000 to 18,000 litres. We are also requesting that suppliers consider installing a telemetry system on all tanks and adopt vendor managed inventory VMI as part of your tender proposal. The following products needs adhere to Diesel and gas oil product Principal Regulations means Sulphur Content of Heavy Fuel Oil, Gas Oil, and Marine Fuels Regulations 2008 S.I. No. 119 of 2008 HVO safety data sheet, technical data sheet along with a International Sustainability + Carbon Certification ISCC PLUS Certification Product needs to be ultra low sulphur gas oil, marked green product. Tenderers must state a guaranteed delivery period from receipt of official order. Deliveries should be based on a call off basis within 2 to 3 days after an order is placed. Tenderers are required to maintain stock levels to ensure that they can provide satisfactory delivery of goods within the guaranteed delivery period Deliveries must only be made from Monday to Friday during normal working hours Purchase order numbers must be clearly marked on delivery docket and invoices Deliveries must be accompanied by a printed delivery docket When the driver arrives to site, he or she must contract stores personnel, and he or she will assign the storage tank to be used. Under no circumstances should a driver empty the contents into any Medite Smartply tank without being advised by stores first. Tenderers must be able to deliver to both Medite and Smartply Facilities as outlined in Table 1 Tenderers must indicate if they have a minimum delivery amount in litres per delivery.
