South Ribble Council is a compassionate council that seeks to support residents in a way that enables them to be happy and healthy communities. The purpose of this commission is to provide residents of South Ribble with impartial and confidential advice aimed at providing residents with the knowledge, confidence and capability to address issues, whoever they are and whatever their problem. In particular we want to mitigate the impact of the cost of living for local residents, and are interested in ensuring we target resources to support vulnerable children and families, older people and other groups who may be vulnerable due to their circumstances, for example people living with disabilities or receive / provide care.
