NHS Lothian requires to purchase a purpose built Aseptic Suite at the Western General Hospital comprising 2 Aseptic preparation rooms (grade C)/changing room stage two (grade C)/support room (grade C)/ first stage changing room (grade C), domestic services room (grade D), office for 2/3 people. The unit must meet all current relevant healthcare and building regulations for aseptic units. Lot 1: NHS Lothian is looking to purchase a modular Clean Room Facility comprising of: two aseptic preparation rooms (GMP Grade C), to house one -ve pressure isolator each, manned with 1-2 staff, accessed via: changing room stage 2 (GMP Grade C) (could be shared between the two aseptic rooms), and serviced from a: support room (GMP Grade C) containing a refrigerator, manned by 1-2 people, checking activity One DSR (GMP Grade D) containing cleaning equipment for all classified areas Changing room stage 1 (GMP Grade C) between the support room and the office Office (unclassified) – occupied by 2-3 people for documentation management, with at least 2 workstations including 1 computer, label generation and dispatch of completed products that connects to the preparation room One DSR (unclassified) containing cleaning equipment for unclassified areas and garment storage Lobby (unclassified) - on entrance to the facility to facilitate decontamination of outdoor shoes and hanging of outdoor clothing and locker storage of personal belongings. Ensure the unit meets the standards set out in Quality Assurance of Aseptic Preparation Services (QAAPS) Ensure the unit complies with all relevant Health Care and Building Regulations inc Health Building Notes, Scottish Health Technical Memorandum etc.
