Award of Hire of ROV and Operator

Tender description

The Scottish Ministers acting through Marine Directorate invite tenders to provide a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) recovery service for the retrieval of scientific equipment in Scottish waters. The Marine Directorate - Science, Evidence, Digital and Data (MD-SEDD) portfolio are seeking tenders from ROV operators with suitable ROVs to undertake recovery of passive acoustic monitoring equipment, and to undertake video surveys of wind turbine foundations. The tender will be for one servicing trip to recover moorings and undertake the survey work. This work will be carried out on behalf of the Marine Directorate and take place aboard a charter vessel (to be confirmed under separate tender).The work will take place off the east coast of Scotland in the Moray firth within the Beatrice (BOWL) and Moray East (MEOW) offshore windfarms and surrounding areas.
