Tender description

The lease of 2x Class 769s to be maintained at Allerton and operating services between Southport and Manchester Oxford Road/ Stalybridge. These units are being added to the existing fleet as to ensure that driver traction knowledge training can be undertaken whilst also delivering services required as part of the May & December Timetable changes without having to operate units in a short formed arrangement. 1 of these units will be available to Northern until 20th November 2025 and the other until the 31st January 2026. ## Contract award
