Tender description

The requirement is for the Supply & Delivery of 18 tonne multi use quick body change vehicles x 5 as well and providing the warranty and service requirements as detailed in the ITT Lot 1: Supply & Delivery of 18 tonne multi use quick body change vehicles x 5. Contract award under the Scotland Excel framework for the Supply & Delivery of Heavy and Municipal Vehicles ref 03-21. The Council requires a 'Build Coordinator' for the build, coordinate until complete, supply and deliver five 18 tonne multi use quick body change vehicles made up from lots: Lot 1 - Chassis Lot 3 - Bodies for Tippers Lot 9 - Bodies for Gritters The Council requires 18 Tonne 4x2 chassis with conversion to allow for multi quick body changes which will consist of five gritter bodies with quick change bodies to two hot boxes and three rear tippers of which one of the tippers being side to side tipper sheets and the other two being front to rear tipper sheets. The Council also requires the warranty and service requirements as detailed in the ITT. This requirement will support the Council to deliver a part of their fleet replacement programme for 2025-26 vehicles delivering best value for the Council.
