Tender description
Provide professional highway development management advice to the Council as Local Planning Authority to assist in the handling and determining of relevant planning applications. Specifically the Local Planning Authority (LPA) and Project Team are engaging in pre planning application discussions with two lithium developers; Imerys British Lithium (IBL)and Cornish Lithium Limited (CLL) (who are proposing a number of sites in Cornwall for lithium extraction. The developers are entering into a Planning Performance Agreement (PPA) with the LPA; this provides for a programme of jointly agreed actions and timescales relating to the provision of technical advice to support the planning application process, from the pre application stage through to post decision condition monitoring.
