Yateley Town Council are seeking quotations to carry out a Preliminary Ecological Appraisal and produce a Biodiversity Action Plan for its public open spaces (47 hectares over 11 sites of varying size) The PEA will comprise a walkover of each site to assess the habitats present, each site will have habitats classified and mapped. A representative botanical species list will be compiled. Incidental sightings of fauna observed will be noted. An assessment of the site to support protected species will be made. The BAP will include identifying areas for habitat creation and/or enhancement and management recommendations for existing habitats. This work will be carried out by a suitably qualified Ecologist and member of the CIEEM.
