PLACE754H Aston Highway Bridge - Accident Damage Parapet Repairs

Tender description

Derbyshire County Council is seeking a contractor to undertake repair works to the Grade 2 listed Aston Highway Bridge following HGV accident damage. The bridge carries the A515 over the River Dove, southeast of Sudbury Derbyshire. Works are to include assessment of recovered parapet masonry stone, procurement and manufacture of replacement stone, liaison with all statutory bodies and arranging necessary permits, site clearance and rebuilding of the damaged parapet in line with the grade 2 status of the bridge.
