Tender description
Hospices provide specialist end-of-life care for patients in our region. All Hospices hold a current agreement with the ICB and as they own their own estates and facilities, no other provider could be considered for hospice end of life care. Therefore, Direct Award A is considered appropriate Lot 1: NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB awarded a one year contract via Direct Award A to the Marie Curie for end of life hospice services in Liverpool. The contract commenced on 1st April 2024 and expired on the 31st March 2025 with an estimated annual contract value of £2,433,764 Hospices provide specialist end-of-life care for patients in our region. All Hospices hold a current agreement with the ICB and as they own their own estates and facilities, no other provider could be considered for hospice end of life care. Therefore, Direct Award A is considered appropriate
