Estates SW: Fit-out of Level 01 of the existing four storey modular Ward Extension building in Mallow General Hospital

Tender description

The project consists of the Fit-out of Level 01 of the existing four storey modular Ward Extension building at Mallow General Hospital (MGH) at Limerick Road, Kilknockan, Mallow, Cork, P51 N288. The approved brief for the project is for the fit-out of Level 01 of the existing modular Ward Extension building to provide new Inpatient facilities. The existing four storey modular Ward Extension building is located to the northeast of the MGH site. The project involves the fit out of Level 01 of the Ward Extension block which is currently vacant and finished to a shell and core standard. Level 00 is also vacant and finished to a shell and core standard. Levels 02 and 03 of the Ward Extension building are fully fitted out and occupied. The works are being carried out within a live hospital campus in a manner to ensure the continued operation of the hospital at all times. Other construction projects by others are being undertaken within the hospital campus including external drainage works, and alterations or refurbishment works to the existing main hospital building, the access route from same passes this site.
