5258 - Fochriw Primary School - Replacement Heating Controls

Tender description

This notice is to inform the market of a successful tender for the for the upgrading and replacement of controls at the primary school, which is the Infants and Junior blocks and associated electrical work.The scope of the project was described in the ITT and shown on drawings .A BRIEF SCOPE OF WORKS IS SHOWN BELOW:- Replace heating control panels in both Infants and Junior blocks.- Install a new BMS system.- Removal of redundant wiring and controls- Link both the Infants and Junior school control systems.- Install BMS supervisor software and set up link to Penallta Office.- Install and set up BMS head-end on an agreed local PC.- Set up BMS internet software on the nominated PC(s).- Arrange with the School and set up phone line connections.- Include for all wiring alterations in the control panels, external wiring and containment.- Install new supply and control wiring and containment.- Remove old control panels, sensors and pockets in pipe work, also space sensors.- Install new control panels with sensors and pipe pockets as required.- Conduct all electrical works.- Reinsulate pipework where removed.- Recommission and test boiler and other plant as required.- Upgrade the Infants School gas safety system.- Commissioning of control systems, with demonstrations / instructions to at least two members of staff.- Include for ALL builders, decorations, and making good.- Management duties to co-ordinate and guide contractors under his control and third-party contractors working in the same areas.- Allow for upgrading and connection to a gas detection system for alarms etc wired back to interface with the control panel.- O&M Manuals and as fitted drawings.- Work Plan
