Provision of Eircode Address Match Services

Tender description

The Contracting Authority is seeking to establish a single party framework for the provision of Eircode-related, address matching and geocoding services. Requirements will include access to a system to match addresses in the Republic of Ireland with Eircodes, and vice versa. Services include the following general areas: Web plugin / API for Auto completion of addresses including matching against the ECAD database, Batch Geocoding of addresses (Ad hoc – on request) The function of the web browser plugin is to facilitate address searches of the ECAD Database based on user input to find an address and associated location data. The API should support a smart/dynamic lookup allowing multiple calls to the service as the user is typing to efficiently find addresses without the need to submit a full address. A plugin for Microsoft Dynamics CRM to facilitate address searches must also be available in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM plugin. A REST API that contains all the search methods that are available in an auto completion Plugin; must be available in a standalone API; the purpose of which is to leverage the functionality of the plugin without the need of a user interface. It is expected that standard search methods are used, and addresses can be auto completed based on a user’s initial text input. Applicants should provide examples of how the search methods function via the API.
