Herefordshire Council is seeking to appoint a Principal Contractor to carry works to improve the Special Educational Needs provision at Kington Primary School, HR5 3AL.\r \r Improvement works include:\r • Construction of a Hygiene Room extension and a Physiotherapy room extension;\r • Remodelling of existing staff WC to provide an accessible toilet;\r • External works to provide level access including ramps, steps and landings.\r \r Some elements of disruptive works will need to be delivered outside of school hours/school holidays. The works to the construct the Hygiene Room extension and Physiotherapy Room extension and the localised internal remodelling can be carried out with some limitations during term time. Disruptive works to elevations to the 2 storey classroom bock to be completed during the school summer holidays.\r The works to commence in April 2025 and must be completed by 29 August 2025.\r Additional information: Herefordshire Council has published this contract opportunity on the 'Supplying the Southwest Portal'.
