Solace/IS Transformation: Self-Assessment and Peer Collaborative Improvement

The Improvement Service, on behalf of the Solace/IS transformation programme are seeking to contract an independent consultant to support the work of a project team set up to renegotiate, test and standardise improved approaches to Local Government self – evaluation/assessment and peer collaborative improvement as a foundation to strengthen the working dynamic between scrutiny bodies, local and central government. Lot 1: As part of the wider Solace/IS transformation programme, Improvement Service are seeking services of an independent consultant to lend expertise to a project that will work with councils and scrutiny bodies across Scotland to re-focus commitment to recommendations of the Crerar review. Specifically, the contractor will work with the project team to engage and facilitate with networks towards the development of a National Framework for Self- Evaluation / Assessment and the production of a short paper that provides recommendations as to specific standards of approaches to Peer Collaborative Improvement required to meet shared goals.
