Tender description

Demolition enabling works to two sites in Dovercourt town centre, as part of the Capital Regeneration Projects investment. Both sites are subject to regeneration proposals with planning submissions in November 2024. Demolition is proposed of the following: - Milton Road: two storey pre-fabricated steel car park structure, at end of life and disused - Victoria Street: Fire damaged three storey late-19th century masonry structure, known to include asbestos and be in poor structural condition Demolition works are required at this point in order to enable further site investigation works to derisk design development towards construction; and tackle immediate issues in terms of site condition including potential risk of collapse. Proposal for Milton Rd to be reopened as temporary at grade car parking prior to main building contract.
