Tender description
ECMWF, as the Entrusted Entity for the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), invites tenders for providing new high resolution regional climate data using Machine Learning (ML) procedures which downscale CMIP6 Global Climate Models. This new dataset would complement the CORDEXCMIP6 datasets which will be published in parallel, and the two sets of data together will form an enhanced set of regional climate datasets, with improved coverage of the climate projection uncertainty space. ECMWF intends to award a single Framework Agreement for a period of maximum 32 months, which shall be implemented via a single Service Contract expected to commence in October 2025.
