University of Southampton Soft Market Testing Exercise (SMTE) Questionnaire for the Provision of Residences Hard Facilities Management. <br /><br />The University of Southampton is looking at a project to consolidate its Residencies Hard Facilities Management Contracts to be run by one or more facilities management companies.<br />The University Halls of Residences consists of circa 6500 bed spaces spread over multiple campuses. <br /><br />The University Residences current service delivery model comprises of multiple contractors, contracts and in house team to deliver compliance based Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM), routine PPM, emergency call out and reactive maintenance across Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire and Building Disciplines. The University wants to explore the opportunity to benchmark the current service model against a totally outsourced model through one contractor. Currently these services are provided across multiple term contractors and existing internal resource. <br /><br />See attached Soft Market Testing Questionnaire document for further information.<br />
