Tender description

The Secure Mental Health Transfer Service is for a specific subset of our patients who require specialist Mental Health transfers, but with a secure and protected transfer, under the Mental Health Act, to a location selected by the psychiatric team assessing and sectioning the patient. These transfers are booked in advance. <br/><br/>The contract term will be for four years with the option to extend for a further 2 years therefore the maximum term of the contract will be 6 years.<br/><br/>The London Ambulance Service NHS Trust may wish to extend the use of the resulting contract to other Southern Ambulance Services Collaboration (SASC) members. These Trusts will be open to contract directly with the successful Provider as and when required. The estimated total value shall range from approx. £900,000 ( LAS expected contract value) up to £1,200,000 (Estimated combined contract value for all members of the Collaborative) over the term of the contract including any extensions.<br/>For further information on the Southern Ambulance Services Collaboration:<br/>https://www.scas.nhs.uk/about-scas/sasc/ Lot 1: This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Contract Notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.
