Delivery of nineteen wheelchair adapted affordable homes to be located at the site of the former Waste and Cleansing Services Depot at Cowan’s Close. This notice is for the works stage of the project only. Following on from the previously published notice relating to the design/service stage. Lot 1: The Cowan’s Close site is an accessibility focused development on the site of a vacated City of Edinburgh Council depot, situated at Cowan’s Close in the Southside Conservation Area of the city. The development will comprise of 19 units of accessible flats in a single 4 storey ‘tenement’ style building. The development shall replace the single-storey cleaning depot currently on site. Each home will provide amenities to aid residents with disabilities or who require wheelchair accessible living. This notice is for the works stage of the project only.
