The council has a security network architecture built on various technologies, with associated vendor-specific skills and management platforms. Procurement is required to replace end-of-life equipment and software licences, allowing for the rationalisation and centralisation via a single platform. Lot 1: The council has various requirements to maintain and provide secure access to the data network via firewalls and end point security. These devices provide a defense against various attempts to breach the council’s infrastructure via any unauthorised user or software related cyber-attack.
