Place Based partnership has developed priority areas to improve local mental health acute pathways by developing effective community alternatives to hospital admission for those residents who develop a mental health crisis. North East London Joint Forward Plan places emphasis on prevention, building on community assets, person centred joined up care and more people supported in the right place outside the hospital environment. The focus on improving mental health crisis and alternatives to admission and to ensure that quality inpatient is available to those who need them – making sure that people get the right support at the right time and in the right place. The scope of services differ for each locality and it has been determined to undertake a Procurement via Lots to support each Local Borough and demographics in the benefit of our service users and further collaboration with VCSE partners in those areas.
