Tender description
The Defence Synthetic Service sits within the Ministry of Defence’s Digital Foundry (Defence Digital) and is seeking to create a critical Predictive technology service for Defence. Defence Synthetic Service aims to accelerate the deployment of new pro-grammes, enhance the capabilities of new and existing programmes, and exploit the value generated from the pan-defence predictive capabilities of current pro-grammes through its services-based approach. The intent for the AI and Simulation Core and Embedded Teams for the first Statement of work in the contract is to: Provide a multi-role Core Support Service (CSS) service covering: 1. Management of approvals and Business Case delivery 2. Procurement support 3. Target Operating Model 4. Requirements development 5. Defence Synthetic Service development 6. RAIDO management 7. Benefits management 8. Service Management 9. Reporting Support 10. To manage a 6 monthly SoW review process throughout the lifecycle of a future In addition there will be digital technical outcomes required such as: 1. Development and delivery of digital solutions 2. Requirements Gathering 3. Process Improvement 4. Data Analysis 5. Agile Facilitation 6. Continuous Improvement The Enterprise AI, Modelling and Simulation Core Service will continue to deliver a consistent and coherent service for the Authority across all of the areas listed above. The contract will have a renewed focus on quality, iterative development and effective approvals. The contract will be oriented towards 6 monthly output and outcome-based Statements of Work (SOW) that are aligned with Defence Synthetic Service Objectives and Benefits.
