ACDAL Sewers and WWTP

Tender description

The work includes: a) A new below ground foul pipe network and pumping station to capture and divert the existing and projected flows from the existing buildings along with the refurbishment of the existing pumping station. b) The construction of a new waste water treatment plant with primary and secondary treatment discharging to wetland ponds for tertiary treatment. The construction of the ponds, ponds access road and the fencing to the ponds area will be tendered separately and is not included in this tender. The new sewer works are located throughout the ACDAL campus whilst the Waste Water Treatment Plant will be positioned in bogland adjoining the ponds on ACDAL property to the north of the existing creche facility. De-commissioning existing underground pipes, redundant manholes, pumping station and existing Puraflo treatment plant across the road is to be included in the contract.
