Meath County Council proposes a transformative, integrated urban regeneration project in Navan, which will greatly enhance the social, cultural, economic, heritage, and environmental assets of the town, the County, and the wider region. This integrated urban project consists of: The conservation, restoration, and adaptive reuse of a vacant and derelict building, the former St Finian’s Seminary Study Hall, (and former St Patrick’s Classical School), which is a nationally important Protected Structure in the heart of Navan, to use as a multi-purpose Community Hub and County Archive, the creation of a new civic space with associated public realm enhancements, and new urban pedestrian connections.
