Tender description

Suffolk County Council have run a further competition using the Framework Agreement for Emergency Response Vehicles for UK Fire and Rescue Services DS339-20 - LOT 2, for the supply of up to 17 Medium Pumping Appliances. Eleven (11) medium pumping appliances will be ordered in the first phase with an option to order an additional six (6) appliances. Contract will commence on the 1 February 2025 and expire on the 31 January 2041. The contract will have the ability to be extended up to a further two (2) years to expire at the latest 31 January 2043. The expiry date reflects the 15 year warranty/life period for the medium pumping appliances. Procurement Policy Note 09/21 requires us to calculate the value of contracts inclusive of VAT, however we can advertise them exclusive of VAT. The advertised value here is between £3,600,000 - £5,800,000 exclusive of VAT.
