Tender description

In preparation for submission of a Development Consent Order (DCO), East West Rail Company (EWR) are carrying out a non-statutory consultation to run from 14 November 2024 and 24 January 2025. Bedford Borough Council (BBC) have a number of land parcels affected by EWR’s safe guarding directions including c. 8 acres of land to the south east of Black Cat Roundabout. This site is currenting being marketed by Carter Jonas (CJ) commercial agency team for roadside development. CJ to engage with EWR on the proposals for the land being marketed, report to BBC and submit a formal response to the current consultation. CJ to charge on a time spent basis based on CCS Lot 5 and the applicable rates are set out in the schedule below along with an estimate for dealing with consultation on the Black Cat land only.
