Mixed quality wood waste (Industry Grade C)

Tender description

Flintshire County Council runs an in-house service for five Household Recycling Centres (HRC’s) across the county. The purpose of the tender is to establish through a formal contract the recycling / recovery of mixed quality wood waste; Industry Grade C arising from the HRC’s. This can either be through - Recycling or Recovery operations (Biomass) Lot 1: Option 1 - Delivery of waste wood to a disposal point or transfer station within Flintshire nominated by the tenderer by using the council’s existing waste collection fleet and containers. For this option, we would require: Provision of a guaranteed price per tonne. The price should also include any associated administration costs. Please detail the frequency of price reviews and provide details of which and how prices are index linked where applicable. Fixed gate fee Lot 2: Option 2 - The tenderer to collect waste wood direct from Flintshire County Council HRC sites as listed in the tenderer offering container hire as part of their tender application. Option 2 The tenderer to collect waste wood direct from Flintshire County Council HRC sites as listed in additional information, with the tenderer offering container hire as part of their tender application. For this option we would require: Fixed price per tonne inclusive of haulage and container hire Frequency of collections by mutual arrangement – Within 48 hours
