CFT 3752 – Design and Installation of a 200kW photovoltaic array and ancillary equipment at Arthurstown closed landfill

Tender description

South Dublin County Council (SDCC) wish to install Solar PV to mitigate base load at the Arthurstown Landfill. The size of the system is proposed to be 200kW. Sizes given are Peak Power outputs at Standard Test Conditions (STC) as per IS EN 61215. The Solar PV array is to be ground mounted, locations may be proposed by the tenderer if technical or spatial constraints are identified on site. The array should be connected to the distribution board in the site building as identified in the tender documents. The design objective is to maximise cost-effectiveness of the system by ensuring self-consumption of the generated power on site and export of any excess generation. The array will be connected to the grid as a Small-Scale Generator. The NC8 application to ESBN shall be arranged by the successful tenderer, and any costs incurred will be reimbursed by SDCC. Site visits will be take place on Thursday 13th March 2025 and Friday 14th March 2025.
