The service provides a comprehensive Oral Surgery Specialist Service through Specialist Surgeons listed on the General Dental Council Register for Oral Surgery. The purpose of the service is to: • increase the number of people being treated within primary care environment • reduce waiting times of Oral surgery dento-alveolar procedures • increase access to minor oral surgery on the NHS • provide more cost-effective service through provision in primary care Lot 1: This contract has been awarded under the urgent circumstances provision of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The service will provide a comprehensive Oral Surgery Specialist Service through Specialist Surgeons listed on the General Dental Council Register for Oral Surgery. The purpose of the service is to: • increase the number of people being treated within primary care environment • reduce waiting times of Oral surgery dento-alveolar procedures, including third molar surgery, removal of buried roots and apicectomy associated procedures. • increase access to minor oral surgery on the NHS • provide more cost-effective service through provision in primary care The service will be provided from 06 December 2024 until 31 March 2026 And remunerated as a fee of £1800 per session for 7 sessions per month limited to a maximum of 8 sessions, unless otherwise agreed. The overall estimated value is £332,900.
