MEETING NOTICE LEEDS SHORT BREAKS “Good morning/afternoon, We are reviewing Short Breaks and Fun Activities in Leeds. We have listened to children, young people, parents and carers and now wish to hear your voices. The review is considering the entirety of the short breaks offer for children and families across the city including those services that contribute to developing the short breaks offer. The aim of the review is to further develop the short breaks offer for families in Leeds with a particular focus on ensuring a clear, coherent and transparent offer which maximizes the city’s resources and ensures a co-ordinated package of support is available for children and families in Leeds. The review includes consideration of data available including information on population, demographics and need of children and young people with SEND in the city. The review is being undertaken in the spirit of co-production and the views of children and young people, parent carers, providers and other key stakeholders is going to be essential elements of the review.
