Tender description

he National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) of the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage propose to renovate the Tower at Lord Brandon’s Cottage, located at Gearhameen, The Black Valley. The site is part of Killarney National Park and accordingly part of the Killarney National Park, McGillycuddy Reeks and Caragh River Catchment SAC (365). Notwithstanding that the Tower is not a listed building, it is nonetheless a structure of historical significance and repairs will be designed and carried out to suit a listed structure.
