Tender description

Deliver activity and principles for continued support, with a particular focus on sustainability and embedding the Valuing Care approach within practice, process and commissioning. Provide support to realise the full benefits of the Valuing Care approach and to embed this systemically through children's services. Critically support to help establish the conditions and foundations for the trusts to sustain the approaches delivered without external support. To support the Trust to: • Embed Valuing Care in practice, process and commissioning, ensuring that care and support matches the need of children and young people and that they are supported to live in suitable homes. • Embed processes to enable systemic identification of children and young people who can benefit from targeted intervention, on an ongoing basis. • Establish a process for collating Valuing Care data at a system level to inform and strengthen strategic decision making on commissioning and sufficiency • Strengthen sufficiency within foster care to enable opportunities for step down from residential care (currently 18 children and young people in residential care have been identified as would benefit from family homes, but no fostering placements immediately available).
