Tender description

Thermal Upgrade and Alterations to the existing Murroe Garda Station. The project includes for carrying out works to the existing Garda Station Site and Temporary Works to ensure the surrounding Garda Station and Married Quarters facilities remain uninterrupted throughout the course of the works. Contractor to make good any damage to existing structures and finishings within the building where affected by the works. Provide for necessary temporary hoarding during the course of the works and remove on completion. All costs in connection with this condition shall be included in the rates including supervision, co-ordination, attendances, health and safety, and insurances. - Installation of external insulation and proprietary external render system to specified external walls. - Lifting of suspended timber floor at ground level, installation of insulation below floor and laying of new floor. - Insulation of roof, in attic space. - Removal and replacement of external windows and doors. - Removal of asbestos containing materials. - Installation of new powder coated aluminium windows and doors. - Lifting of existing suspended timber floor, insulation of floor and installation of new subfloor. - Removal of all attached signage and mechanical/electrical fixtures and fittings and refitting of all fixtures and fitting back to existing external wall though new insulation. - Site works involving relocation of gullies and drains to accommodate additional depth of insulation to external walls. - Re-decoration all internal finishes. - Mechanical Installation and associated Builder's Works. - Electrical Installation and associated Builder's Works.
