Tender description

This project forms part of a package of actions being taken forward through the Corporation's Climate Action Strategy, which seeks to reduce emissions from the Square Mile's built environment. These include: - A Net-Zero Buildings program covering the Corporation's own operations, housing and investment property portfolio. - Planning for Sustainability - Supplementary Planning Guidance for a Sustainable City, supporting the Local Plan. - A Planning Advice Note on Carbon Options Guidance. - A Square Mile Local Area Energy Plan which sets out the actions, investment and timeline to transition to the energy system to net-zero by 2040. - Square Mile building refurbishment guidance and case studies to highlight market trends in reducing carbon emission and highlighting leading practice. - A Historic Building Challenge to incentivise carbon reduction and climate resilience in the City's heritage environment.
