Award of a call off contract under Prison Education Dynamic Purchasing System for Textiles Maintenance for residents of HMP Risley HMP Risley currently has 3 textiles workshops using a variety of machines including basic sewing machines, flat bed, 5 thread overlockers, banding machine, and lay end cutters, and we would like the training to include the mechanical maintenance and servicing of those machines. We would expect the training to include but not be limited to the following: - Understanding how to carry out basic servicing and maintenance of a sewing machine - Fault finding and diagnosing common problems on a range of machines. - Learn about key oiling and lubrication points that keep machines running. - Health and safety issues when maintaining sewing machines - The practical strip down of the machines - How to follow a service schedule - Parts Identification
